Join me for a 90-minute workshop about the Witching Herbs of the season. Featuring The Harbinger, Snow Drops, The Protector, Rowan, The Diviner, Bay Laurel, and The Dreamer Willow.

WELCOME TO THE Witching Herbs…

Imbolc is the belly of winter, the creative coccoon, the dream of the dream before spring is seeded. Imbolc is a time for rest, reflection, and remembering. This is the season of stillness and of hope that holds us through the shadows. Imbolc is a reminder and a harbinger that soon, spring will return, and as we spiral through the year, this is our moment of inspiration, we must learn and listen to the wisdom of the underworld and the dark.

Along this path grow the Witching herbs, plants with stories, folklore, and legends. The roots of these plants carry stories, and messages for those who know how to listen.

A few herbs are especially related to the history of Witchcraft and magic, and these plants are known as Witching Herbs. Often used in ancient rituals, kept in secret and sacred apothecaries, or known and honored as supernatural plants, these Witching Herbs rule the liminal spaces, teach the lessons of the underworld, and act as bridges between this world and the next, teachers of death, divination, and magic.

This deep knowledge of earth magic can be taught by diving deeper into the myth, legends, and medicinal history of these plants to learn about the history of their relationship with humans, Witches, and wise ones.

This class will contain an opening meditation, education around Imbolc and the magical themes of the season. Additionally, we will cover the Medicinal History, Folklore, and ritual inspiration for and of Snow Drops, Rowan, Bay Laurel, and Willow.
